A little help,, please?

So, in less than a month, I'll be going to Colossal Con in Sandusky. And, well, I don't have my cosplay put together yet. o.o
I'm looking to do my own version of a COG from Gears of War.. But.. I'm stuck.
I have no idea how to make it, or, really, how to start. I've got all the pieces drawn up how I want them to be, but that's as far as I am.

Any advice? Anyone? Anyone want to help out?
